Happy Holidays!

I experimented with coloring a transparency for this card. I printed the Christmas bulbs on the transparency and then colored them with sharpie markers. It took a little practice to get the markers to color evenly but it can be done! The sentiment and images all came from The Cutting Cafe. I used the files: Christmas Long Phrases and Bulbs for the Tree.

I Hate Cooking

...well I really dislike to cook and thought that the printed circle stamp from The Cutting Cafe was a perfect match to my thoughts! The stamp came from the file titled Kitchen Circle Words. There are lots more sentiments in these files in favor of cooking for those of you who do like to cook! I also opened one of my newest Cricut cartridges for this card. I just got From My Kitchen...lots of fun images on this cartridge!

Stand and Salute Cricut Cartridge

My assignment for Creative Express last month was to highlight the Stand and Salute cartridge. If you thought this cartridge was to use for military and patriotic themes, think again. I found several different ways to use this cartridge from layouts to cards. I also used the new Basic Grey June Bug collection and for my layout I love Kaiser's Grunge collection (I think this set is just perfect for a teenage boy)

July 4th Greetings

The Cutting Cafe has some adorable files for the 4th of July available and these cards are a breeze to put together quickly. Regina is also running a special on these this weekend. If you buy one of the July 4th files you get the background file for free! I can't believe that the 4th is here already...where did June go? My star card is also made from a Cutting Cafe file and includes ovals, hearts, and circle templates!

Thank Ewe

These printed stamp files from the Cutting Cafe are just the cutest. There's a whole set of these printed word and stamp files. Let's Get Hopping - Blog Hopping with Outta This Funk!

It a beautiful Saturday morning and what a great day for Outta This Funk's first blog hop! Hope you will join in the fun and hop along with us. I know you will find lots of inspiring things along the way.

I altered this notebook as my contribution to the hop today. I love to use these compostion books to hold things I find inspiring from quotes and notes to magazine clippings. They also make great gifts too! I used My Mind's Eye Bloom kit on this and I believe that MME is fast becoming one of my favorite paper companies. I have used every little scrap of that paper kit on several projects lately. I also had to play around with some more of my vintage ladies images that I've collected over the years from public domain sites on the internet.

Leave me a comment and I'll pick one name to win a small alterable notebook kit. Have fun with our hop today.

Monogram Stationery Set (some cards)

Here's a couple of the cards that I made to go with my stationery box.

Monogram Stationery Set (the box)

I so love these little card boxes from The Cutting Cafe. There's even a file in this set to make matching envelopes. I'm thinking ahead to Christmas and making these for gifts. I also used the stamped monogram file to personalize the set.

Delight in the Day

Fun little card that I put together with scraps from my previous card and a ready made embellishment that came with my paper kit.

Much Thanks

I played with this little flower set of stamps from a store at Etsy http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=6406219. Aren't they just the cutest stamps? I also couldn't wait to try out some more of my glimmer mists. Those mists are so easy to use. I just layed some shapes on my paper and sprayed away. I think my butterfly image and circle turned out pretty much the way I had envisioned.

E is for Easter

I made this card for a challenge over at Creative Xpress. The challenge was to use a large monogram on your card. I spruced up my giant "E" (love my cricut for things like this) with some buttons, ribbon, decorative pin, and a circle sentiment from The Cutting Cafe.
